Fluoride Varnish Application

The course aims to prepare registered dental nurses to display sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge for the application of topical fluoride and be able to competently apply topical fluoride to adult & child patients under prescription from the dentist.

You will complete a 1 day training session with one of our highly skilled tutors. You will then continue to achieve your competency post course by completing a record of experience for 10 case studies in your work place, under the prescription and direct supervision of a registered dentist.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of training dental nurses will be able to display the required knowledge and demonstrate practical skills to apply fluoride under prescription as part of a treatment plan for a variety of patients

You will receive certificate of attendance for 6 hours CPD and on completion of your ROE you will receive a further certificate to acknowledge your competency.
